ABOUT

Why This Exists

There's a conversation about your body that almost nobody has had with you. Here's the one we're going to have — plainly, with the research, and without the hype you've already learned to distrust.

The conversation nobody had with you

Here is a strange fact. In a national survey of 1,261 adults aged 50 to 94, most said keeping their muscles strong was very important — and most said they'd act if told their risk. Yet only about 1 in 11 said a doctor had ever raised it with them.

So this isn't a topic your doctor is covering and we're competing for. It's a conversation that never happened — about the strength, energy, and independence that quietly determine how the next thirty years actually feel.

Your fear isn't dying. It's needing help getting up from a chair at 70.

That's the real thing. Not a number on a scale — the stairs, the groceries, getting off the floor. Live Well, Repeat is built around that: keeping you capable and independent, on purpose, for decades. Not through willpower or a 30-day crash, but through small daily systems that hold up on your worst week.

What we won't tell you

Anyone promising you ten pounds of muscle in 90 days at your age is selling you something. We're not going to do that. We'll tell you what the research actually supports, show you the studies, and be honest about what we don't know. If that feels like the opposite of most wellness content you've seen — good. That's the point.

Built by a coach, not an influencer

Live Well, Repeat was built by Larry Paul Jr. — someone who has spent 25+ years in the fitness industry and got tired of watching good people get sold hype, extremes, and programs built for 25-year-olds.

Twenty-five-plus years in fitness

Long enough to have watched every trend come and go — and to know which few things actually hold up for adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.

Research-first, plainly explained

Every claim here traces to a real study. When something is uncertain, we say so. Citations and honesty aren't hedges — they're how you earn trust from people who've been burned before.

Coach, not guru

No biohacking extremes, no quantified-self obsession, no cold-plunge theater. Just a credentialed, plain-spoken guide and a system you can actually keep.

Said plainly: Larry is a strength and longevity coach, not a doctor. Everything here is coaching and education, not medical advice. Always check with your physician before starting, especially with a health condition.

The four pillars

Living well isn't just the gym. LWR scores four pillars together, because they rise and fall together.

Physical

Strength, movement, fuel, and sleep — the foundation of staying capable.

Mental

Stress, focus, routines, and a clear sense of why — the operating system.

Social

Connection and community — one of the strongest predictors of a long, healthy life.

Financial

Security and automation — because money stress is health stress.

Proof first. Then a plan.

  1. 1

A test you can do on yourself, right now

Not a lecture — a real, felt number. How hard you can squeeze. Whether you can get off the floor without your hands. These predict more about your next decades than most lab work, and they cost nothing.

  2. 2

    A plain-language reason it's true

The science, explained like a person talking to you — with the study behind it, so you can check.

  3. 3

    One small next step

Not ten. The system is built to survive your busiest week, because that's the week that decides whether anything sticks.

The name

Live Well, Repeat. Not "transform in 30 days." The whole idea is a daily ritual you can actually repeat — small enough to keep, consistent enough to compound. Your best day, made your default day.

Start with a test, not a sales pitch
